Maynards Green Community Primary School is an inclusive School. It welcomes the involvement and co-operation of the parent body and constantly strives to offer a high quality educational service to the parents, carers and children of the community it serves.

The school is organised into 7 teaching groups. These are single year groups ranging from Reception to Year 6.

school session times

Morning:            9:00am to 12:00 noon                 Afternoon:         1:00pm to 3:20pm

Reception children attending part-time finish at 12:00noon.

break-times

There is a 15 minute mid-morning break for all children and, for children in Key Stage 1, a 15 minute break in the afternoon. As part of the school’s Healthy Eating Policy, children are encouraged to bring into school a piece of fruit/raw vegetable or a carton of fruit juice which may be consumed at morning break-time. Alternatively, older children may purchase a piece of fruit from the school catering staff.

Also as part of the school’s Healthy Eating Policy, children are encouraged to bring into school each day a clearly named bottle of water (sports top only, please!) for drinking in their classrooms throughout the day.
